Traditionally stylistic methods include: trails (epithets, metaphors, similes, personification, irony, allegory, paraphrase, hyperbole, etc.), shapes (epiphora, anaphora, gradation, repetition, parallelism, etc.) Also you can add the words of one thematic groups, which play an important role in the poem. Find old fashioned vocabulary, neologisms and explain why the poet used them.
Usually, this section is the largest and detailed in the analysis, so it should be given the greatest attention. You can describe symbols here, “tying” it to the stylistic methods.
Your Personal Assessment
Express own thoughts about the poem. Don’t write primitive sentences “like – not like it.” Your conclusions should be subjective and have strong arguments. It will be the best to chose an objective position and highlight the positive and negative sides of the poem equally.
